Rotary Youth Leadership Awards
Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) is a highly regarded Rotary leadership training program for young people aged 18-25. It is run and organised by local Rotary districts with clubs sponsoring the attendees.
RYLA emphasizes leadership, citizenship, and personal growth, and aims to
• Demonstrate Rotary's respect and concern for youth • Provide an effective training experience for selected youth and potential leaders • Encourage leadership of youth by youth • The D9800 camp is usually one week ,held late November- early December at Mt Evelyn. A club representative (usually YS Director or nominee) is invited to a dinner during the camp.
