The Box Hill Miniature Railway is a unique association between the Rotary Club of Balwyn, Box Hill Miniature Steam Railway and the Bendigo Bank of Canterbury, Ashburton, Surrey Hills and Balwyn. Balwyn Rotary club members assist with the running of the Box Hill Miniature Railway on open days – the third Sunday of the month.

Transform Your Nature Strip into a Fauna-Friendly Oasis
Balwyn Rotary is helping property owners in Boroondara beautify their nature strips – replacing the grass (and weeds!) with flowering native shrubs, grasses and groundcovers to attract bees, birds and butterflies. Over 45 done so far!

Balwyn Rotary will provide:
- Assistance to obtain Council Permit
- Provide and apply grass/weed-killer spray
- Rotary hoe your nature strip
- Garden Designer - OR - 20 free plants - you choose
- Abundant supply of bush mulch
- Sound advice on completing your indigenous nature strip
Cost:
There is no set fee!
If you are happy with Balwyn Rotary's efforts, we would love a donation to Rotary, to assist it in further services to the community.
Optional Costs: Plants are $2 ea. If not taking the free Garden Design option, your 1st 20 plants are free.

RIMERN (Rotary Inner Melbourne Emergency Relief Network) is a multi club Rotary project operating Inner Melbourne, providing furniture, appliances & homewares to welfare agency clients who have experienced homelessness, domestic violence, incarceration, refugee displacement and other crises. RIMERN is modelled on Eastern Emergency Relief Network (operating in the Eastern suburbs) and Western Emergency Relief Network (operating in the Western suburbs) & the three Rotary projects collaborate wherever possible. mixture of lecture style sessions and adventure- based learning.National Youth Science Forum (NYSF) runs annual residential programs to encourage young people in their passion for science. It gives year 12 students a broader understanding of the diverse study and career options available in
