Barry Randall is the Founder and Director of Operation Soul Surf, a surf therapy program supporting veterans and first responders who have experienced trauma. He is also a veteran police Sergeant, currently in his 32nd year with Victoria Police. Known to many as “Baz” he is a father, husband, rugby league gypsy and a surf therapist. In 2021 he founded Operation Soul Surf, an award winning, internationally recognised surf therapy program dedicated to supporting active duty military, veterans and first responders and he is passionate about supporting those who have experienced trauma and mental health issues. Baz is the recipient of the National Police Service Medal and in 2025 was named the National Rotary Emergency Services Community Awards Officer of the Year.
