Balwyn Rotary is proud to have contributed $50,000 to support the Emergency Medicine Kenya Foundation (EMKF) — an inspiring initiative working to ensure that everyone in Kenya has access to quality emergency medical care when they need it most.
Over the past year, our Club has proudly supported other Rotary Clubs shown in this graphic in a diverse range of humanitarian, health, education, and community projects—both here in Australia and across the world. From clean water and maternal health to youth education and mental wellbeing, each initiative reflects Rotary’s commitment to creating lasting, positive change.
Grants range in amounts from $10K to $50K
Our Club is deeply saddened by the tragic events at Porepunkah on the 26th August, where two Victoria Police officers lost their lives and another was critically injured in the line of duty. Our thoughts are with the families, colleagues, and community members affected by this senseless act.
This tragedy is especially close to us, as our Club is fortunate to count serving / retired police officers among our members. Their commitment to keeping our community safe reminds us of the courage, sacrifice, and service that every police officer demonstrates each day
