Sam McLarty is a Development Advisor at the Bionics Institute and a former AFL player with the Collingwood Football Club. He holds the distinction of being the first professional athlete to compete with a cochlear implant. Now working in business development, Sam is passionate about giving back to the field of medical research that helped shape his own journey. He holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) from Monash University and is committed to advancing innovation in hearing and neuroscience through his work at the Bionics Institute
