Our Dinner Meeting of 28th May will be the Grand Final of the Four Way Test Youth Public Speaking Competition.

A signature event of the Rotary year approaches at our Dinner Meeting of Tuesday 28th May 2019, which is a celebration of a very special Club project . The entertaining and often amazing, ‘Grand Final of the Four Way Test Youth Public Speaking Competition’, is upon us.
Each year we invite candidates from Years 10 & 11 attending secondary schools within Boroondara, to present a six minute speech of their free choice, but one that essentially embraces the ethical notions of the Rotary Four Way Test. Four finalists will be chosen from the Semi Final eliminations to proceed to our Grand Final event. You can confidently look forward to some extraordinary presentations.
It is difficult not to be impressed by the skills of these young students.Their speeches are always well prepared and are presented with notable style and oratorical panache.
Make no mistake, these talented students are young citizens destined, ‘to make a difference’.
So come along and feel good, join with our invited VIP guests from Rotary and our community, with teachers and proud parents, with our fellow members and guests, and expect to be enthralled.

YES, IT IS A PARTNERS NIGHT.
Just remember to advise of any guests who may be attending, and of any dietary requirements.
