    Kids Under Cover-Martin Murley

Martin Murley has responsibility for Kids Under Cover’s philanthropic partnerships. He is humbled by the resilience and quiet dignity of the clients they support, and is forever surprised at the private generosity of its donors. He has never once dragged his feet walking to work at Kids Under Cover, and feels privileged working there. Martin works to grow philanthropic support for our work, liaising with charitable funds, trusts, and foundations, and working with wealth managers and social investors. Prior to joining Kids Under Cover in late 2012, Martin had over 25 years’ experience as a general and senior manager, coordination and project specialist within the education sector. He commenced work in the careers counselling and education space, and performed a diverse range of roles including program coordination, service delivery and management functions, through to leading high-performing teams. He developed start-up roles and designed/implemented cross-organisational process changes, culminating in serving in General Manager roles on the executive team of national company with 200+ staff. He is an educator at heart; communication, business development, relationship management, interpersonal, strategic planning, analysis and presentation skills have been critical in his career thus far. Kids Under Cover is the only not-for-profit organisation in Australia providing disadvantaged young people with space to thrive; by providing studio accommodation in family back yards and education scholarships. By making space for living we make space for a brighter future.
