Dr Max Lay is an international authority on roads, who has been highly commended for his research and publications relating to Australian and international road history and development.
Dr Lay has had a long and distinguished career in engineering, was the independent reviewer for the Citylink project, and is a director of the RACV and of ConnectEast.
Dr Lay’s 2003 publication Melbourne Miles has broad appeal.
