Anna Slattery, National Manager, Trusts & Foundations at The Smith Family is our speaker.
Anna is a philanthropy professional working specifically with Trusts & Foundations to secure income to support Australian children and young people in need, through education. Anna commenced her journey into philanthropy initially as a volunteer with The Smith Family eight years ago, where she saw firsthand the tremendous impact of the charity’s work.
In her role as a Philanthropy Manager, Anna manages the relationships and stewardship of a portfolio of key national and some international, Trusts & Foundations where her focus is to deepen relationships with philanthropic partners to support the growth in the organisation’s revenue.
Anna’s background includes a broad range of experience across the philanthropy, corporate HR, executive search and education sectors. She also volunteers on a grant review panel of a NFP and appreciates the opportunity of giving back, as well as finding the experience valuable for applying the principles of social value to both grant seeking and grant making.
Whether in teaching, training, managing projects and philanthropy, Anna’s goal has always been to make a positive and systemic change to the lives of people in need and advance the mission of the organisation.
