Join us for an important evening as the Rotary Club of Balwyn holds its 2026 Annual General Meeting (AGM) and warmly welcomes Peter Jenkins and Jill Byron as new members.

Annual General Meeting

The AGM will cover the following key business:

• 2026 Financial Statement: Presentation and member vote on the financial statements for the year ended 30 June 2026, together with the Independent Auditor's Review Report.

• Election of Officers for the 2027–2028 Rotary year.

• Camberwell Sunday Market Report

• Balwyn Blue Club Report

Welcoming Our New Members

Peter Jenkins

Peter is a retired chartered accountant with extensive experience in senior finance roles across the insurance industry. He has also contributed to not-for-profit organisations, including The Wilderness Society of Victoria and the Canterbury Community Action Group. His interests include environmental conservation, music, theatre, gardening and travel. Peter looks forward to supporting Rotary's community initiatives.

Jill Byron

Jill has a background in social work, research and management, including roles at Oxford University, St Vincent's Hospital and the MSBase Foundation. She holds a PhD from the University of Melbourne and has extensive experience in health research administration. Jill enjoys photography, theatre, music and community volunteering, and looks forward to making a positive contribution through Rotary.
