
Over the past year, our Club has proudly supported other Rotary Clubs shown in this graphic in a diverse range of humanitarian, health, education, and community projects—both here in Australia and across the world. From clean water and maternal health to youth education and mental wellbeing, each initiative reflects Rotary’s commitment to creating lasting, positive change.
Grants range in amounts from $10K to $50K
Health & Medical Care
- Uganda: Renovated and re-established the Maternity and Children’s Wards at Kyebe Clinic.
- Nepal: Equipped a new birthing centre in remote Kangel; upgraded maternity ward facilities at Khurkot; supported the Dudhkoshi Community Hospital Operating Theatre; and improved water and sanitation at Shree PurnaSanjiwani Secondary School.
- Kenya: Upgraded the Kapsabet County Hospital Emergency Department.
- Indonesia (Sumba): Established a permanent eye-care clinic.
- Bangladesh: Delivered a community-based vision care and blindness prevention program in rural areas.
- Democratic Republic of Congo: Constructed and now operate a community hub in Lotumbe.
- Philippines: Project Rainbow—a healing centre for child survivors of trauma.
- Nigeria: Rotary Women’s Bakery in Epe, empowering women through skills and employment.
Water, Sanitation & Infrastructure
- Cambodia: Built 20 accessible washrooms for disabled children in Siem Reap.
- India: Constructed a toilet block for girls in Madurai.
- Sierra Leone: Installed a water storage and reticulation system at Beudu School.
- Tanzania: Drilled 10–20 water bores for villages in the Tarime district.
- East Bali: Supplied 56 rainwater tanks for families in Kayu Wit village.
- Papua New Guinea: Provided clean water to rural communities.
- Uganda: Restored classrooms with the Assisi Centre for Social Justice & Peace.
Education & Empowerment
- Nepal: Supported “Back to School” programs in Siraha and Udayapur districts.
- Nigeria & Philippines: Combined education and community development through training and psychosocial support.
Australian Community Projects
- Ballarat Soup Bus Refurbishment – providing meals and dignity to those in need.
- St Vincent’s Hospital “Small Comforts to Community” – care packs for patients.
- Southern Kitchen Project – supporting local meal services, Hobart Tasmania
- RIMERN – purchase of a delivery van to help furnish homes for families in crisis.
- Teen Mental Health First Aid – equipping young people with lifesaving knowledge.
- Laptops for High School Students (Morisset) – bridging the digital divide.
- Afghan Refugee English Support – 200 picture dictionaries donated for learning.
