The Great Rotary Year Kick-Off BBQ

This relaxed and social evening is all about good food, great company and plenty of laughs as we celebrate the year ahead. Members of the Rotary Club of North Balwyn, Rotarians from other clubs, and friends and family are all very welcome.

In keeping with tradition, everyone is encouraged to wear shorts in fond memory of Stan Gawel — a small but meaningful way to honour his spirit as we begin the Rotary year.

The evening will also include a short tribute to Stan Gawel, along with the induction of our newest member, Joyce Wong.

To add to the fun, guests are encouraged to send a “Summer Selfie” to Julie Mulhauser by Wednesday, 21 January 2026. These will be used to create a slideshow on the night, and all contributors will go into the draw for a $100 Gift Voucher, generously donated by Angela and Peter Ciliberto.

So come along, bring your appetite, and enjoy a casual night of fellowship as we start the Rotary year together.
