WELCOMING DISTRICT GOVERNOR PETER SHEPHEARD

The District Governor’s annual visit is always a special occasion, offering insight, inspiration, and a direct connection to the broader Rotary landscape. Peter will share his perspectives on the year’s priorities, the strategic direction for District 9800, and the ways in which clubs like Balwyn continue to play a vital role in strengthening Rotary’s impact locally and internationally.

Peter is well known for his thoughtful leadership style, his commitment to service, and his passion for supporting clubs to thrive. His presentation will touch on current district initiatives, membership development, Rotary’s evolving global priorities, and opportunities for collaboration across clubs.

This is also a chance for Balwyn Rotary to showcase the work we are doing — our projects, our culture, and the energy that continues to drive our club forward. We encourage all members to attend and to bring partners or guests for what promises to be an enjoyable and engaging evening.
